October November 2008: Sports

 The Manningtree Oars, aka Sarah Howlett, Sally Pavey, Louise Hopkins and Hilary Bowen have rowed their 22’ Felixstowe Clayton Skiff on the River Stour since early in the year, under the firm guidance of their stalwart cox, Colin Graham.  They entered the gruelling 22 mile long “Great River Race” that takes place annually on the River Thames between Richmond and Greenwich on Saturday 13th September.

 The ladies choose to raise money for the NSPCC and Headway Essex as their charities and they would be very grateful for sponsorship for any amount.
